Vin de France Red

An unusual and audacious blend of three very different, but emblematic grape varieties of France’s winegrowing regions, grown with passion here on the estate: Pinot Noir, Syrah and Malbec. This wine, with its assertive character, offers the advantages of the three varietals: the elegance and cherry notes of Pinot Noir; the spicy, full-bodied aromas of Syrah and the texture and generosity of Malbec. Since the style of this wine does not correspond to the framework of wines of the Côtes de Gascogne denomination, it was intentionally declared as a Vin de France.

    TASTING NOTES

This original blend of Pinot noir, Malbec and Syrah offers us a nose focused on black fruits such as cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry and reinforced by minty freshness. On the palate, these black fruits are enhanced by notes of liquorice and black pepper. The tannins are ripe and will continue to refine over time. To be enjoyed with grilled or braised red meat, white meat such as chicken crapaudine, or even a cheese platter.

    AGEING

To drink young, within the 5 years following the vintage.
