An unusual and audacious blend of three very different, but emblematic grape varieties of France’s winegrowing regions, grown with passion here on the estate: Pinot Noir, Syrah and Malbec.
This wine, with its assertive character, offers the advantages of the three varietals: the elegance and cherry notes of Pinot Noir; the spicy, full-bodied aromas of Syrah and the texture and generosity of Malbec. Since the style of this wine does not correspond to the framework of wines of the Côtes de Gascogne denomination, it was intentionally declared as a Vin de France.
It displays a charming, confident shade of red. An expressive and intensely aromatic nose mingles scents of black fruit (blackberries, blackcurrants, black cherries) and spices (pepper, cinnamon), all softened by a delicious fragrance of violet. On the palate, it reveals silky tannins enhanced by remarkable freshness and gives a lovely long finish. This is a wine to share with friends as an aperitif, or to serve in accompaniment to an exotic or spicy dish, or with delicious, roasted free range chicken, for example.
