Château Camperos

AOC Sauternes Sweet White

Françoise Sirot-Soizeau produces two crus in Barsac: Château Closiot and this, part of the Sauternes appellation. She is carrying on the family winegrowing tradition with the invaluable help of her husband, the well-known Belgian journalist, Bernard Sirot, a wine specialist. The estate is located on the edge of the limestone plateau of Barsac, bordering Doisy-Daëne, Doisy-Védrine and Coutet. This tiny vineyard has been farmed using integrated farming methods since 1996.

    VINTAGE 2011

Beautiful golden-yellow hue. The nose has great finesse, offering up a delicate floral fragrance with scents of yellow fruit and spices. The soft, mouth-filling palate is still fresh, finishing on notes of candied fruit and spicy oakiness. Exquisite!

A deliciously fresh wine while young. It can be cellared for up to 10 years.
