Château Canterane
AOC Saint-Emilion Red
Technical sheets
- 2012
VINTAGE 2012
TASTING NOTES
A deep ruby-coloured wine, the Merlot flavours intermingled with overripe berried fruit, redcurrant and cassis; excellent depth, purity and balance. The palate is supple and creamy at the attack, then ample and rounded with fine tannins and a deliciously fruity finish. The overall impression is one of elegance and intense aromas.
AGEING
Best drunk from 2015 but can be laid down for several years more.

TASTING NOTES
The deep purple tints at rim are proof of the youth of this broodingly red-hued, almost black, wine. On swirling, the nose displays notes of ripe Merlot, cassis and liquorice. Crunchy on attack, the palate is ample and rich, with harmonious flavours over soft tannins. A Saint Emilion of great distinction and elegance.
