Château Champs de Lucas AOC Bordeaux Medium Sweet white - Technical sheet
Château Champs de Lucas
AOC Bordeaux Medium Sweet white
The history of Vignobles Pellé is also a grand family history, which began in 1840 at Château de Jayle. Situated in Saint Martin de Sescas five minutes from the mediaeval village of Saint Macaire and 50km from Bordeaux, it was home to five successive generations who also created Château Champs de Lucas. This estate has everything a wine tourist could wish for.
The wine is a buttercup yellow, with a complex nose of honey, acacia blossom and toasted vanilla. On the palate acidity and richness are outstandingly balanced, and its aromatic length fully justifies its rank as one of the appellation’s greatest successes.
Serve well-chilled as a delicious aperitif or to round off a festive meal.
