Château du Courneau

AOC Médoc Red

This small family estate of 36 hectares has an outstanding situation, lying on a gravely knoll in the north of the Médoc, in the village of Lesparre Médoc. It was in 1986 that the Lamoliere family settled here and began to plant vines. Since then, the family has invested in modern facilities (stainless steel vats, barrel cellar, shed for farming equipment, harvesting machine). This wine is the fruit of painstaking tending by Norbert Lamolière, the estate owner and a passionately dedicated winegrower.

    TASTING NOTES

Powerful bouquet of red fruit combined with toasty, smoky notes. The round, mouthfilling palate is framed by silky, beautifully ripe tannins and lingers to a spicy, elegant finish. Definitely a great wine, and one which simultaneously displays all the elegance and flavours typical of the Médoc terroir.
