AOC Blaye - Côtes de Bordeaux Red

Remarkably situated on the calcareous clay slopes bordering the Gironde, Château Gontier is one of the venerable wine estates of the Blaye winegrowing area, dating from the nineteenth century and straddling the villages of Blaye and Plassac. The estate was bought a few years ago by the Bayle-Carreau family which has poured all its know-how and passion into making Château Gontier one of the rising stars of the AOC Blaye-Côtes de Bordeaux.
