Château Haut Lagrange AOC Pessac-Léognan Red - Technical sheet

Château Haut Lagrange

AOC Pessac-Léognan Red

This new estate was created in 1989 by M. Boutemy, who is proof of ingeniosity of which there is no equal; inventor of the machine to pick grapes as if by hand, he would not hesitate to block up his pool for a refining station!...His wines are full of character, each vintage more profound than the previous. Finesse and a fabulous balance are assets of this promising vineyard.

    VINTAGE 2011

The 2011 vintage unveils a wine that is ample, rich, structured by beautifully extracted fine tannins and which fulfils the promise of its crimson hue and intense bouquet of black-berried fruit – blackcurrant and blackberry – spices and discreet vanilla. The overall impression is one of plumpness and creamy extract that lends elegance to the palate and provides excellent length. Powerful and fruity, a wine with good ageing potential.
