Château La Bedouce

AOC Bordeaux Supérieur Red

Château La Bedouce is a former eighteenth-century monastery that lodged pilgrims travelling the Saint James of Compostela way. Alain Favretto’s grandparents bought the property in the 1930s and it was in 1982 that Alain Favretto harvested his first grapes. Assisted today by his two daughters, he is perpetuating this family inheritance with the same passion as ever. His great pride is the organic farming certificate he obtained in 2010. Working with meticulous care at all times, he manages this magnificent vineyard with deep respect for the environment in line with the strict rules of organic farming.

    TASTING NOTES

Profound, dense colour, slightly brick-tinted at rim. Delicate, complex nose revealing elegant notes of overripe red fruit with earthy, spicy nuances. The palate is generous, mouth-filling and fruity, the fruitiness intensifying at the finish over quality tannins which have benefited from ageing in the vat to attain their full expression.
