Château La Bedouce AOC Bordeaux Supérieur Red - Technical sheet
Château La Bedouce
AOC Bordeaux Supérieur Red
Château La Bedouce is a former eighteenth-century monastery that lodged pilgrims travelling the Saint James of Compostela way. Alain Favretto’s grandparents bought the property in the 1930s and it was in 1982 that Alain Favretto harvested his first grapes. Assisted today by his two daughters, he is perpetuating this family inheritance with the same passion as ever. His great pride is the organic farming certificate he obtained in 2010. Working with meticulous care at all times, he manages this magnificent vineyard with deep respect for the environment in line with the strict rules of organic farming.
This wine is the product of a legendary vintage and all the promises of its beautifully dense, profound garnet hue are fulfilled by its bouquet.
Subtle notes of red-berried fruit with a touch of spice emanate from the glass, the same fruitiness apparent on the supple, chewy palate with its elegant and harmonious tannins. Already a very harmonious wine, but worth cellaring.
