AOC Lalande de Pomerol Red
This small family-property is ideally situated in the middle of the Lalande de Pomerol appellation in Néac. This small winegrowing appellation totalling just 1,100 hectares lies north of the town of Libourne and is bordered by the Pomerol appellation to the south, with just the Barbanne river forming the line of separation, and by the Montagne Saint-Emilion appellation to the east. The wine is vinified with great care by the SIMON family. The Merlot is dominant and the wine shows all the richness, fineness and elegance of this exceptional terroir.

TASTING NOTES
Presenting itself under the best auspices with its beautiful purple color and purple reflections, it is a cocktail of black fruits and spices with a hint of mint. On the palate it reveals a pretty frame where fruit abounds and develops a soft and supple substance, all in velvety and aromas, prolonged by well-integrated tannins. A beautiful representative of its appellation. Will best enjoyed with a meal and a perfect accompaniment for meats and cheeses.
