Château Notre Dame - Cuvée du Moulin

AOC Montagne Saint Emilion Red

CHÂTEAU NOTRE-DAME is situated on a hill overlooking SAINT-ÉMILION. It was bought in 1952 by the Gerbeau Leynier family, who fell in love with the château itself and the surrounding land. Faithful to this family passion, sister and brother Sabine and Thierry Leynier have taken over the management of the estate with the aim of perpetuating the family know-how. The family crafts its red wines with meticulous care and respect for this exceptional terroir. Each vintage bears the stamp of a wine that has withstood the test of time.

    VINTAGE 2017

A superb colour with ruby tints presents this wine that has a delicate and expressive bouquet, harmoniously well balanced between scents of lovely ripe red fruit and spicy hints. On the palate, it also unfolds an excellent range of flavours, with tannins coated in generous body that give a remarkable finish, perceptible but without extravagance.

    To drink from 2020.

    VINTAGE 2018

Beautiful, intense crimson red color. The elegant nose evokes blackberry, black cherry and perfectly ripe Merlot underlined by harmonious oak and toasted notes. On the palate that we find all the smoothness of this exceptional terroir; a texture that is both sweet and fresh, crunchy tannins coated with a velvety, smooth texture. A nice balance with a complex and persistent aromatic length.

To be tasted from 2021 but can wait a few years in the cellar.
