Château Notre Dame - Cuvée du Moulin

AOC Montagne Saint Emilion Red

CHÂTEAU NOTRE-DAME is situated on a hill overlooking SAINT-ÉMILION. It was bought in 1952 by the Gerbeau Leynier family, who fell in love with the château itself and the surrounding land. Faithful to this family passion, sister and brother Sabine and Thierry Leynier have taken over the management of the estate with the aim of perpetuating the family know-how. The family crafts its red wines with meticulous care and respect for this exceptional terroir. Each vintage bears the stamp of a wine that has withstood the test of time.

Dark-hued with deep purple tints, indicating a youthful, rich wine. Bouquet of red-berried fruit with roasted, toasty notes. The inviting, well-structured palate is further proof of a rich vintage, in which the Merlot is the predominant influence. A well-balanced wine that promises excellent ageing. A superb colour with ruby tints presents this wine that has a delicate and expressive bouquet, harmoniously well balanced between scents of lovely ripe red fruit and spicy hints. On the palate, it also unfolds an excellent range of flavours, with tannins coated in generous body that give a remarkable finish, perceptible but without extravagance.
