Château Pastureau AOC Bordeaux Red - Technical sheet
AOC Bordeaux Red
This family estate is situated in the village of Sauveterre de Guyenne, at the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region. It has been owned by the family since 1956, the year in which the vines were replanted. Annie Merlet Brunet took up the reins of the estate in 1986 and runs it with passion and determination. The awarding of level 3 HVE (“high environmental value”) certification is proof of the work that has been achieved and her determination to continuously improve the estate’s environmental performance: on the one hand respect for the soil to improve the soil/plant balance, and on the other controlled yields to allow the terroir to express its full potential.
The result of one of the best Bordeaux vintages, this wine has a deep garnet hue and an expressive bouquet of red fruit and mild spices. The palate is pleasingly ample, soft and chewy, with velvety tannins, the sign of a carefully crafted wine and a great terroir. An elegant, generous wine with good ageing potential.
To enjoy ideally from 2019 during a festive meal with friends or family.
