AOC Bordeaux Red
A brilliant deep purple hue and a fresh, expressive nose with crunchy, ripe red fruit aromas. The palate is silky round, and clearly marked by the presence of ripe Merlot. Supple, dense tannins impart fine length and a rich, lingering finish.
To drink from 2015.
Reflecting the typical style of this growth and the excellent vintage of 2015, this wine is a beautiful ruby red with dark purple tints. Its beguiling nose exhales an array of fruit, from blackcurrant to blackberry, as well as floral notes, while the palate is balanced and elegantly tannic. The finish lingers, reinforced by some fine freshness. An excellent Bordeaux with both elegance and charm which will make pleasurable drinking even while young. After a few years, it will evolve towards more spicy, musky notes, offering greater complexity.
To drink from 2016.
Elegant garnet hue, generous nose of red fruit with a touch of spice. The palate displays the maturity and generosity typical of the vintage, with velvety tannins and fine complexity. A worthy successor to the previous vintages and passionately crafted by Bernadette Faugere, this Château Piochet offers all the elegance and charm of a first-label Bordeaux.
