AOC Côtes de Bourg Red

Small wine property with the vines spread over three villages in the Côtes de Bourg area. It is a family-owned estate which has been handed down from mother to daughter for three generations. The vineyard is tended with passionate dedication by Corinne Baudouin from the pruning to the bottling, perpetuating the family tradition.

    TASTING NOTES

    The result of a legendary vintage, this wine is a beautiful, brilliant purple hue. The nose evolves around frank aromas of black-berried fruits and spices –an expressive bouquet which continues throughout the creamy, lingering palate, underpinned by fine, velvety tannins. A very fine Médoc with excellent ageing potential. The ideal accompaniment to an informal meal, with meat stews, grilled meats or a well-garnished cheese board.

    TASTING NOTES

    A beautiful, sustained ruby red to rim, Château Roc du Breuil presents a complex and fruity bouquet of ripe fruit and spices. On the palate, rich, elegant tannins are wrapped in smooth, creamy extract, making for a lingering finish. Without any doubt a great vintage and a wine which displays all the class typical of its exceptional terroir. A wine that will be ready for drinking very soon or can be cellared for a few years. A good match for grilled red meat in sauce, or cheese.

    TASTING NOTES

    Château Roc du Breuil is a brilliant, deep ruby-tinted wine. The nose is highly expressive of red berried fruit with a hint of spice. Supple at the attack, the Merlot-dominated palate offers up a complex, aromatic bouquet of black fruits (cassis and blackberry) highlighted by peppery notes and underpinned by a touch of crisp tannin. Fine length, a beautifully expressive wine from this hilly terroir. A bottle that will be ready for drinking very soon or can be cellared for a few years. A good match for grilled red meat or cheese .
