Clos des Lilas
AOC Montagne Saint Emilion Red
2010 was an excellent vintage and this product of it displays elegant, brilliant ruby tones. The generous, rich bouquet is redolent of blackcurrant and redcurrant, combined with almost floral touches and a hint of juniper. Rounded at the attack, the palate reveals elegant femininity, with silky tannins and a lingering finish. A beautifully balanced wine, to be enjoyed with shoulder of lamb in sauce!
Ready for drinking from 2014. Alternatively, it can be cellared for 3-8 years without detriment to its excellent balance.
Beautifully coloured with brilliant ruby tints. The nose exudes expressive red-berried fruit, earthy fragrances, spice and vanilla. The smooth, delicate palate with feminine, well-integrated tannin displays fine aromatic length with a hint of spice at the finish. A wine with elegance and charm.
Ready for drinking from 2015. Alternatively, it can be cellared for 3-8 years without detriment to its excellent balance.
