    VINTAGE 2015

A blood-red hue, limpid and brilliant. This wine needs to be allowed to breathe to fully reveal its aromas, which range from berried fruit (redcurrant) to jammy prune and cherry. The palate is supple, its flavours starting with red fruit and ending with notes of cocoa. Enjoy with exotic, spicy dishes, white meat and even desserts.

    VINTAGE 2016

“Ampelography” is the study of the different varieties of grapevine. The animal fossil discovered in Montreal-du-Gers was named “Ampelomeryx” as a tribute to the winegrowing region of Gascony and the diversity of its grape varieties. The dark, purple-hued 2016 vintage is a highly original blend of varieties typical of Burgundy, the Rhone Valley and Quercy (Pinot Noir, Syrah, Malbec). The nose displays powerful aromas of blackcurrant, pepper and garrigue, after which the journey continues from red fruit to spices along a gently crescendoing structure. After the frank attack, the palate softens and opens up, evolving to a lingering, fresh and fruity finish. Great complementarity between these three varieties!
