Sirius AOC Bordeaux Rosé - Technical sheet

AOC Bordeaux Rosé

Created in 1985 by Peter Sichel to prove that it was possible to apply the same meticulous care and methods as for the Grands Crus Classés of Graves and Pessac-Léognan to less prestigious terroirs to obtain a fine, rounded and fruity wine at an affordable price. A discreet, pared-down label for a modern chic, wine, equally ideal for trendy bistros or gourmet restaurants. Also exists in Red and White.

    VINTAGE 2018

A beautiful blush pink in colour, slightly salmon-hued at rim, this rosé offers a generous and pleasing bouquet of red berried fruits (redcurrant and cherry) with a delicate floral touch (peony and hawthorn blossom). The rounded, silky front-of-palate gives way to a fresh, firm texture enlivened by just the right amount of acidity. The lingering back-of-palate brings this nicely balanced wine to a harmonious finish. Well-chilled, will make a welcome addition to an aperitif with friends on a fine spring day, or a fine accompaniment to a lobster fricassee with a cream sauce!

To drink young between 2019 and 2024.
