Sustainable development

Maison Sichel is fully committed to sustainable development and has set itself three major
objectives:

1. To maintain a balanced economic situation
2. To reduce our carbon footprint
3. To train, involve and motivate our employees

Our action programme is based on five main points:

1. Economic development
2. Ethics and business management
3. Environment
4. Human resource management
5. External relations

Our initiative is fully explained in our sustainable development charter.

Our action plan sets out the measures which we intend to implement in detail.

In the chapter on the environment, we have defined five areas in which to work:

1. Combating climate change
2. Optimising waste management
3. Reducing the pollution caused by our operations
4. Developing biodiversity
5. Getting official recognition of our standards through certification from external
bodies.
