TASTING NOTES
Deeply coloured with ruby tints. The expressive, elegantly oaked bouquet unveils aromas of black-berried fruits, mild spice and vanilla with just a touch of smokiness. The front-of-palate reveals a silky texture enveloping a firm, perfectly smooth structure. The mid-palate offers notes of concentrated fig, prune and fresh blackcurrant that evolve to earthy, tobacco aromas and end with toasty flavours imparted by ageing in excellent-quality oak barrels. A very fine, attentively crafted wine from this unique Médoc terroir.

TASTING NOTES
An almost black ruby red with purple tints denoting the youthfulness of this wine. Beautifully expressive nose with notes of plum and blackberry and a touch of toast and vanilla. A silky texture envelops the firm structure typical of the appellation and an exceptional vintage. Focused, lingering finish with roasted notes, the sign of careful ageing. No doubt about it, this is another step up the quality scale for a wine which has never ceased to distinguish itself for quite a number of vintages. Wait another few years before opening.
