Château Ombrière (l')

AOC Bordeaux Supérieur Red

Tended by the third generation of the Latorse family, this estate has undergone major changes during the past fifty years or more, starting with its size, which has grown from 41 to over 120 hectares. The family has not hesitated in investing in the best possible equipment: temperature control, pneumatic presses, technical management software, stainless steel vats and a barrel-ageing cellar, as well as a sewage station to help protect the environment, and solar panels. With the Latorse family, respect for tradition goes hand in hand with a keen interest in technical innovation.

The result of a legendary vintage, this 2016 is a beautiful deep red hue. A highly expressive wine, exuding black-berried fruit blended with mild spicy notes. The fleshy front-of-palate opens up to reveal an ample, generous mid-palate structured by elegant tannins.
