AOC Saint-Emilion Red
The result of a legendary vintage year, this wine is a deep ruby red with carmine tints. The expressive nose offers up red fruit and violet aromas, accompanied by vanilla and toasty notes. The palate is chewy and mouthfilling, the tannins and rich extract harmoniously balanced. A tremendously charming, supple wine – the sign of perfectly ripened Merlot, the main variety in this blend.
This Saint-Emilion can easily be cellared for 10 years, but has already achieved its full aromatic expression.
This 2011 is a brilliant ruby colour. On swirling, it offers up a nose of jammy red berries with floral and oaky vanilla notes. The same overripe berried fruit is to be found on the mouthfillingly textured palate, which is underpinned by tasty, dense tannins and ends with a flavoursome, liquorice-accented finish. An excellent wine!
This Saint-Émilion can be cellared for a few years, but is already expressing its full array of aromas.
