Château Vaumont

AOC Graves Red

Château Vaumont lies at the southern extremity of the Graves appellation. This tiny 3-hectare estate was bought in 1992 by the Bord family as a complement to Château de la Prioulette. In doing so, François Bord seized the opportunity to expand his range of wines by adding a neighbouring appellation with a very different terroir. Today, Valerie and Yves Jallon are pursuing his work with conviction and passion, conserving the same spirit of tradition and family signature to offer you typical Graves wine.

Beautifully deep, concentrated, young-hued wine. Crisp, fruity nose reminiscent of blackcurrant, blackberry and sloe. Well-structured palate, nicely balanced between extract, suppleness and tannin. A Graves in which fruit takes pride of place, with a pleasant, lingering finish. An excellent wine in an already exceptional vintage.
