Château Vaumont lies at the southern extremity of the Graves appellation. This tiny 3-hectare estate was bought in 1992 by the Bord family as a complement to Château de la Prioulette. In doing so, François Bord seized the opportunity to expand his range of wines by adding a neighbouring appellation with a very different terroir. Today, Valerie and Yves Jallon are pursuing his work with conviction and passion, conserving the same spirit of tradition and family signature to offer you typical Graves wine.
This 2014 is a brooding ruby hue. Very fruity nose with pleasant blackcurrant and blackberry aromas as well as slightly spicy and mineral notes. The attack is supple, offering smooth extract and well-integrated tannins. A harmonious, elegant wine. Fine aromatic length revealing subtly spicy notes and a hint of toast.
A wine to be drunk young and which can be cellared for 3 to 5 years.
