IGP Côtes de Gascogne White

Domaine de Pellehaut has been run for more than 300 years by successive generations of the Béraut family. Today, the wines produced by Mathieu and Martin Béraut, two brothers with a passion for winemaking, never fail to win medals on the competition circuit. Their Chardonnay Fruit stands apart thanks to its purity and its characteristic but original aromatic complexity. Fresh and round, pure pleasure.

    VINTAGE 2016

    TASTING NOTES

    A yellow hue with slightly greenish tints. The nose expresses floral and brioche notes. The attack is light, with a gossamer-light palate that carries you through to the supple and rounded finish. Marzipan aromas and an interesting tendency towards muscaty notes! A wine that will open up over a number of years. Will accompany a meal from the aperitif to the cheese.

    AGEING

    A delicious wine, to be drunk within 3-4 years after vintage.

    TASTING NOTES

    Light yellow in hue. Expressive, complex nose of white-fleshed fruit, white blossom and sweetbread. Light at the attack, then the gossamer palate takes you on a slow journey to the gentle finish. A Chardonnay of intense aromas and remarkable length. Will accompany an entire meal from aperitif to cheese. Ideal with fish, such as gravlax-style Pyrenean trout.

    A delicious wine, to be drunk within 3-4 years after vintage.
