Le Rose de Cassagnau

IGP Pays d'Oc Rosé

Languedocien and oceanic, these are the terms that define the excellence and uniqueness of this terroir. We find ourselves here, as if by magic, at the confluence of two climates: the Mediterranean influences bring generosity and the sun conducive to beautiful maturities. The westerly flows, meanwhile, maintain the humidity and freshness necessary for the expression of the fruit.

    TASTING NOTES

Clad in a delicate, pale pink, this characterful wine – an unusual blend of Malbec and Grenache– unveils a generous nose of small berry fruits, cherry, floral notes and mild spice. The invigorating, chiselled palate lacks neither roundness nor volume while offering great freshness and outstanding minerality. A wine to serve chilled and sip with friends on a fine summer evening – pure pleasure! Refreshing, it goes well with charcuterie, summer salads, poultry, white meats (pork and veal), mild cheeses.

    AGEING

To drink young, within the 2-3 years following its vintage.
