Château de Grissac
AOC Côtes de Bourg Red
The vineyard surrounds a manor house whose main elements date back to a fortified castle of the 14th century, which in 1652 made way for the chateau today. Montesquieu came here to pay visits to his friend Pierre de Montalier, adviser at the court of Guyenne. They very probably discussed important matters, such as the qualities of their respective wines for example. In 1822, by way of inheritance, Grissac became the property of Lur-Saluce, who sold it in 1858. In 1977, the estate of Grissac captivated Madame Cottavoz, the current owner and winegrower, for the entirety it represents: harmony, charm, geography and history. She runs this vineyard of 23 hectares single-handedly in accordance with values for agriculture that take the terroir into consideration, to reveal its extraordinary potential and ensure that this endures.

ДЕГУСТАЦИОННЫЕ ХАРАКТЕРИСТИКИ
This deeply coloured, dark purple-tinted wine is redolent of red-berried fruit and spices. Supple, rounded and smooth over a velvety tannin base, the palate is all lush fruit, evanescing to a long, harmonious finish. A fine vintage for a Côtes-de-Bourg which has been beautifully crafted according to the tradition of the appellation.
ХРАНЕНИЕ
Ready for drinking from 2020. Drunk young, it will express its freshness to the full. Alternatively, wait three to four years to enjoy its full complexity.
