Beyond the profession of simple wine merchant, for several generations the Sichel family has also been keen to supervise and control the entire process from production to sales.With the acquisition of Château Palmer in 1938 followed by Château Angludet in 1961, Château Trillol (in 1990), Château Argadens (in 2002), and lastly Château Daviaud (in 2020), the Sichels gained the know-how, expertise and wine “culture” in general which were essential for in-depth knowledge of the profession.
