Château Haut Bernin
AOC Bordeaux Red
The wine-making expertise has been handed down from father to son through four generations on this family estate, founded in 1928. The great-grandfather of Matthieu Sirac planted his first vines in Moulon. Bordering the Saint-Émilion appellation just 1km away, the estate today extends over 34ha and boasts the same terroir. Château Haut Bernin produces red wines with excellent ageing potential, crafted with passion using traditional methods.

- 2016VINTAGE 2016TASTING NOTESA delicious result for this blend of 90% Merlot with Cabernet-Sauvignon. Beautiful, intense and profound ruby hue, a bouquet expressive of red berried fruit, blackcurrant, dried fruits and vanilla. The fruity attack gives way to a mouthfilling mid-palate. A very harmonious wine. Served at room temperature, will pair beautifully with any red meat. AGEINGReady for drinking from 2018 but can be cellared for 6-8 years.
