Château La Commanderie de Gombeau
AOC Bordeaux Rouge
The Degas Family’s winemaking history began in 1920 in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, in the commune of Saint Germain du Puch.
The estate has been passed down through eight generations. In 2018, Marie-José Degas handed over the management to her daughters, Diane and Eugénie, thus preserving the feminine touch that characterized the estate. Today, grandmother and granddaughters work together, combining tradition and expertise while bringing their modern and feminine touch.

TASTING NOTES
This well-typed wine is dressed in a pretty purple color with ruby highlights, a classic blend of predominantly Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose reveals subtle floral aromas enhanced by fruity notes. The structured and elegant attack reveals a fleshy body, making for a pleasant wine that can be enjoyed young. The finish shows beautiful complexity, supported by a persistent fresh fruit aroma. The whole is harmonious and indulgent, expressing the generosity of its terroir.
AGEING
Best enjoyed from 2022, but it can also be kept for a few years in the cellar.
